Hi all...
Long time no post!
Admittedly, I haven't checked these forums since before COVID - so I apologize if this question has been asked and answered elsewhere...
I am wondering when everyone thinks a NEW round of ALJ applications will be taken?
I've applied TWICE and both times got stuck at the "we can't figure out if you have the relevant years of
experience, so we can't move your application forward! Stage" ....
Someone in another thread mentioned that SSA has 1000 candidates ready to interview for the next round of hires?
Where does that leave someone like me? And realistically, what does everyone think the timeframe is for SSA opening up applications again at Stage 1? 
Any insight / thoughts are appreciated!!

The process has changed. Not sure if it changed after you quit monitoring the board or before. If you are familiar with the Agency handling most of the application process that used to be done by OPM, then you are familiar with the current process. If not, well you shouldn't have quit checking in. Things change. Pixie |
