Its even more odd to see them wandering the streets in costume, as if it was just another normal day. Nothing normal about seeing the Mario brothers taking a stroll and bumping into someone dressed as a Pokemon.

Yesterday I saw a guy dressed up like Slash from Guns 'n Roses with a fake guitar slung over his back. He was with a gal wearing platform hip boots. I can't figure that one out. Does he have his own video game? What does he have to do with anime? I'm actually quite amused by the whole thing.

The Slash costume could be, thinking out loud, a tie in with the video game Guitar Hero I think it is. My daughter has one. I'd rather she just learn to play guitar.
