This is a reminder that this board is very much a public forum that is watched by Agency higher ups, representatives and members of the public who may be seeking benefits. Be careful of what you post, and ensure your identity is protected.
You may rest easy knowing that those of us who run this board will never do anything to compromise your anonymity, but make sure that your own posts don't give clues as to your identity. Several times in the past I have deleted comments made by a poster as I felt it might compromise her identity. Each time I was thanked.
Also, it isn't a good idea to register using your SSA email address or using your government computer to register. Your emails are easily read by the computer geek in your office or by computer geeks higher up in the organization. Use your personal computer with your personal email address. That protects your identity.
