What is the name of the hotel near OPM that everyone liked to use when we traveled in for the two days of testing to get on the register? I searched and can't find it. I think these details maybe got deleted when the old testing method got deleted. Or maybe my search was not good.
Thank you in advance!

There is a Marriott Courtyard right near OPM.
I stayed at a hotel called State Hotel, also nearby. I have no idea if it is still there, and it needed a little bit of a refresh when I was there 10 years ago.
There was another hotel- I want to say in the Marriott family- where they held interviews the last time I went. But I can't remember exactly which one- it was walking distance to OPM, but not right there. And as I recall, it was a pretty nice hotel (and thus more than I was willing spend at the time).

I googled what you said and it was the State Plaza Hotel. Thanks!!!!

I couldn't find the third hotel I was referring to, but I did get a trip down memory lane. Found my first NOR (from 2007), as well as several emails for interviews (in 2012 and 2016). Light the corners of my mind...

Got me stsrted thinking about the different places I stayed at during 'ALJQuest"... there were several, none of them the State Plaza, though I do remember that several did stay there.

It looks like the State Plaza was the hotel for which you were searching.
In reviewing old threads, I did find this about the hotels where the SI was held. Many opted to stay at the SI location.
Structured Interview Location Change — Beginning December 1, 2015, the Structured Interview component of the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) examination will take place at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20009. Applicants who self-scheduled their Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test (WD/LBMT) for Nov. 30, 2015 through Fall 2015 will be given their Structured Interview Admission Notices on the day of their WD/LBMT session. Note that through Nov. 20, 2015, the Structured Interviews will continue to be held at the Embassy Suites, 1250 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037. (Posted 11/12/2015)
For those interviewing a bit later in the process, I believe the SI was held at the Embassy Suites in Old Town Alexandria.

Good times…

So, not a Marriott.

I found my prior post on this topic. I was hired in 2016. I know this has been answered but in case this helps anyone, here it is: I stayed at the State Plaza last October. I think it was $222 per night. The hotel is a bit outdated, but it's clean and comfortable, the bed linens are newer, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. It was very convenient to OPM, maybe a 5 minute walk. I had free breakfast with my package. I went to the restaurant when it opened at 7 am and there were only two or three other people there, so I had time to get breakfast and still make it to the WD on time. The waiter was super nice and put my coffee in a to go so I could take it with me. I took a cab to the SI at the Embassy Suites and walked back. I think it took about 20 minutes to walk (in dress shoes). I had a late flight home so the State Plaza stored my bags while I was at the SI, got them out for me when I returned so I could change, and stored them again so I could do some sightseeing for the afternoon. I let them know I had lost my sunglasses and they returned them to me that evening when I came back for my bags. I had forgotten them in my room.
