I just received a rejection notice for the last ALJ posting. Kind of odd given how long ago it was. Anyone else get it? This refers to the application you submitted for the position of Administrative Law Judge (Licensing and Benefits), vacancy announcement number SH11434791.
We regret to inform you that you were not selected for the position of: AL-935-3 Administrative Law Judge (Licensing and Benefits)

Yup. Got one too. So did a friend of mine.
I guess that makes it official for those of us who applied a few years ago. We are officially SOL.

Today I got a notice of referral for a job that is a 15. I'm excited. I just wish I knew what job it is. I applied to it so long ago, that I have no recollection of it. Even though I will likely get something soon that says thanks but no thanks, it is still better than the random FOAD for jobs that also fall into the category of applied so long ago that I have no idea what it was.

Yep, I got my rejection too – about a couple of years after applying and interviewing. Wasn’t that just a special way to kick off the day? You know it’s bad when the rejection email feels like catching up with an old friend who’s been ignoring you for months. ‘Oh hey, remember me? Yeah, about that job…’
