For those who received an invitation, how long before you find out the schedule for the WD/SI? Is there any flexibility if, for example, you have a court date that conflicts with the scheduling?

I wish I knew. Since they have a range of dates, I'm hoping there will be flexibility if the exam date assigned conflicts with other responsibilities. I had hoped that they would schedule these on consecutive days (or at least close together) so those of us coming from distant places (i.e. the opposite corner of the state) wouldn't have to pay twice for airfare. But, obviously, I can't complain and am happy I made this cut.
By the way, for newcomers to the board: WD is Written Demonstration and SI is Structured Interview.

As I remember from the last go-around re-scheduling was granted on a very good excuse.

For our group last year, dates could be moved due to conflicts, court or otherwise. However, the scheduling of consecutive days is very unlikely. And I, for one, wanted some lag time between the two events.

Based on last year the first group to go was people in the immediate DC area, then the rest of the country.

A friend of mine from Atlanta had her exam on one day and interview on the next. Based on the comment from Atlantis, I guess those of us here in D.C. should brace ourselves for the next round. Any advice?

Based on last year the first group to go was people in the immediate DC area, then the rest of the country. There was no geographic order to the WD or the SI last year. That topic was discussed in some detail here. There were many people from the DC area and thus you could find clumps of them in various classes throughout the testing period.
