Woke up at 5 a.m. could not sleep anymore. Checked e-mail and already had dates for WD (11/19/08) and SI (2/3/09). That was fast.

I got the dates for the WD and SI from separate emails, but did not see any update with this info in my account. Is that true for everybody who made it to the next round?

I also requested a new WD date, but haven't heard anything. Has anyone been rescheduled?

I got rescheduled for November 20 and February 4 this morning. Note: The email response itself did not give the new dates. The last email still said "We have received your recent message addressed to the ALJ Application Help Desk and are working on a response." However, further down it had a grey box indicating the status of the request was now "closed". Attached to the email was a PDF that had appointment letters with the new dates.
I don't know if it helped, but I sent a follow up email on Monday, and yesterday I called OPM and got a phone number for an alj application line. The message on that line said no messages should be left except for matters relating to other types of applications (I can't remember what exactly they said), but I left a desperate message anyway, as the originally scheduled bad dates were fast approaching. I'm happy with the new dates although I'll have to fly to DC twice and they didn't accommodate my request to schedule either or both during my planned vacation the first two weeks of December. Note: we'll all have to wait until February to get our scores anyway.

For those of you who have taken the WD, are all of the computers laptops? If they are laptops, are they connected to a full-sized keyboard, or is the typing done on the regular laptop keyboard? Is there a mouse connected?
