Anyone heard anything about ALJ vacancies at the SSA offices in Roanoke, VA or Johnstown, PA? Office climate at either one or both? Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have been informed that there are at least two openings in Johnstown, PA. I have no information about the other locations.

In Johnstown there will either be 3 or 4. Their full contingent is 7 and they are at 3. Harrisburg will likely have none. Wilkes-Barre should need at least 2, but perhaps more. Last I checked, Roanoke was full, but that was a while ago. Not sure about Philly, but Elkins Park is full. Hope this helps. In terms of the climate, Roanoke has a so-so rep and Johnstown has a good rep.
