I am an outsider. Does anyone think it is advantageous to prepare for the interview by learning SSD law?

No, but you should have an understanding of what you would be doing if selected.

I am an outsider. Does anyone think it is advantageous to prepare for the interview by learning SSD law? No. The interview questions will reflect the fears of the agency. It wants someone who can deal in large numbers of cases, use computers and in general get along. You will not be asked questions on the law. You will be asked about working with claimants with mental illness and with those of other races and persuasions. It wants 40 to 50 cases produced a month. Convince them you can do this and have no ax to grind and your interview will be a success.

Superdude, what he says is the way it is. Nothing bitter about it. As they say in the City: It is what it is.

Many people have posted the same or similar comments going back well over a year.
