Question regarding geographic limitations - I have heard that there may be limitations regarding being hired into an office as an ALJ if you worked in that office as an attorney adviser. Any truth to this? If so, is there a certain period of time the person has to have been gone from the office in order to be eligible to be considered for an ALJ position in that office?
Thanks for any insight!

I know for a fact that this is NOT true. You can be selected for the office you worked in prior to becoming an ALJ. It happened last year.

It happened in Kansas and perhaps elsewhere as well.
