Will someone with a wide open or virtually wide open GAL post the cities, please?

well now I am really bummed, since I did not get an email, although I have a small GAL. . . . . . Relax for a while. There are around 500 emails to go out, potentially. If the GALs are coming with them, that takes time, as they can't just do a blast email.

Actually, they're not in alphabetical order, they're in order by region number.

Buffalogal...are those all the cities in this cert? I know you mentioned SSA listed them but even though I've been a faithful reader of this forum, I still feel like a novice.
I matched with a good number (well in my mind) with the ones you mentioned. Best news I've had all year...

This is the start of the e-mail (I also got one from Groupon, a bank in Nigeria. . . but you don't care about those): "The Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) has obtained an additional ALJ certificate and we are pleased to inform you that the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has certified your name to us for the position of Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), AL-3." My GAL is tiny - NYC, Newark and Vorhees, NJ. I've been through this many times before - always a bridesmaid. I really think it's a cruel hoax; Bob must be someone I bullied when I was a child and now he's getting back at me. Actually, I was the one who was bullied in childhood so there goes that theory. Good luck to all.

I also got an email this morning. This is my first cert. Does anyone have an idea when interviews might be and what to expect in the interview? Thanks.

Appears that the scores for this cert are going down pretty low... like mid to low 50s low.

I predict within the next 48 hours, but then again I'm not Nostradamus. Nice prediction redwhiteblue - Nostradamus Jr., perhaps? Anyone have intel on purported start dates - I know it's jumping the gun, but it seems that things could get moving pretty quickly. Bob's email said late spring or early summer, but I remember that the last cert I was on had a proposed time period and ended up being incorrect, with a class starting in Jan. 2012.

Usnjudge -- Diceman listed NYC. I omitted NYC and LA locations from my application, so I wasn't expecting to see them. Other than that, I said I'd go anywhere. Did anyone's GAL include other cities?

Bob's email said late spring or early summer, but I remember that the last cert I was on had a proposed time period and ended up being incorrect, with a class starting in Jan. 2012. That one got complicated as they couldn't get training worked in around the holidays (and probably had a hard time finding people willing to teach the training in that time of year. They won't have that problem this time. diceman said NYC was one of the three cities in his GAL, not that it was part of the cert this time. His other two cities are on the list posted for this cert.
