My heartfelt congratulations are extended to everyone who gets a call and an offer over the next few days, as well as to those who do not. I have been on both sides of the fence and know how emotionally trying this process is. Good luck to you all!

Also, I know some of you don't want to post where you are going to, so please at least go to the poll site and check where you are going. You can stay anonymous that way. Good luck to everyone!!!!

@ justwaiting - good for you. Portland is on my list, but I really want to stay in Southern California (assuming I get a call...)
CONGRATS to all!
And yes, I continue to yell at my phone to ring. It is non-compliant.

Start date in Alexandria is May 21. I am full of champagne on an empty stomach, so typing is a challenge

I also want to echo others and say be calm and remember it takes a while. Also check any possible numbers you gave. I left my cell number. Heard nothing over the weekend only to find a VM message at work the following Monday.
Just be cool folks.

BTW, caller ID showed a 917 area code on my phone and I almost did not pick up, as I "knew" the area code I was looking/hoping for was 703.... not sure if this "glitch"was/is only related to my phone...but just in case it is not, thought I'd share...

I had a similar experience to lawdog98, I gave my cell phone number as the preferred number and the caller called my work phone... of course this is not meant as a complaint, just answer all your phones...

this is getting far afield, but just for the record the lady who called me was not Kristen (sp), although I am sure she is nice too.
