Lookin forward to feedin my funkenstein. I have a friend in Baltimore who works for SSA. I will probably have dinner with him. It should be fun as I haven't seen him in a couple of years. I trained and taught him all he knows about SSA law and regulations.

If anybody who didn't make it is filing an objection to the last round score because they were cut off before the time expired, I'm willing to help with an affidavit. It happened to me, too.

August 12-13 here. Glad it's relatively soon although I'm not looking forward to being tested starting 8 am on a Monday morning.
I think I've been by this 1900 E St. before. HUGE building with numerous agencies. Come early to find the right place, people! Good luck to all.

HUGE building with numerous agencies. Come early to find the right place, people! Good luck to all. If it's the same building we went to in 2010, I think it's just OPM. You come in the lobby and wait to be taken upstairs as a group. (maybe not in one group this time, as this is likely to be a larger group). Found this place close to OPM. Better price than the Embassy Suites, and has a kitchen in the room, which is nice to save $$. Groceries a few blocks away. Looks interesting. www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g28970-d84104-Reviews-State_Plaza_Hotel-Washington_DC_District_of_Columbia.html

The WD and LBMT are the day before the interview. If you got one but not the other you are missing an ESSENTIAL email.

I hate to kill a good theory before it gets started, but my last name falls right in the middle of the alphabet and I am testing on 8/5 (which might be the first day of testing)... They sorted it by score on Phase 2, lowest scores go first, highest scores go last I like that theory considering my invites are for the last Monday in September and the first Tuesday in October. It looks from the reporting that I might be in the caboose . Good luck everyone.

WD and LBMT: business casual or suit and tie?

WD and LBMT: business casual or suit and tie? I think that's a matter of personal preference. I saw both in my WD group in 2010. I dressed up because I felt better that way (I had dressed up for the bar exam way back when) and because I didn't know what to expect, and though it was safer to overdress a little than be too casual.

Are there still people that have not received any notice at all? I haven't received any notice and am wondering if this is bad news for me.

WD and LBMT: business casual or suit and tie? I say business casual, as long as it's "real" business casual and not jeans or *gasp* something even more casual. Remember, look good, feel good, write good!
