How about the dream of walking into the SI and one of the panel members is a former colleague (sometimes friend, sometimes adversary). For me mostly friend (Hey I am an optimist even in a dream. :-).
HMMM- On that note what happens if you go in the SI and you and a panel member know each other.

Greeting from the OPM cafeteria! Lol
I am glad i am done with WD. About 30 of us here. Some in full business attire and some in jeans sneakers and polo shirts. Normal size keyboards but you have to look at screen on laptop. Ages of wannabes are from mid thirties to mid sixties. 55 min lunch. Bring aspirin and sweater ear plugs allowed but i did not need them. Water and juice is allowed and we kept our bottles on desk. Saw people eating candy and chocolates too
You look down and start reading materials when they say go and before u know it time is up! Will post more when i get back to hotel tonight

I appreciate the information regarding the process and what is allowed in the door at the test sights. I see that time seemed to fly by quickly in completion of the WD. Did you feel too rushed in trying to complete it? Was the time allotted just enough? Curious as to how you felt about it. Thanks.

Those are awesome sweater plugs. They will look great in Washington DC humidity in August. I think I'll opt for my Home Depot ear plug pack - great for mowing the lawn or taking the WD/LBMT. Where did you find that picture?

I had my nightmare the other night. I walked into the SI and introduced my self. First question was to admit or deny I was aka "funyodar" and then about my posts critical of the agency, opm and the process.

Sjt? Wd? Lbmt?
I'm not seeing on the abbreviation list what these stand for!

Based on deduction, I believe lbmt is logic based math test, but the others? Thanks.

Geographic Availability List.
On another thread, you're asking questions about applying for state ALJ jobs in New Mexico. Did you apply for the federal Administrative Law Judge register when it was last opened for applications? If not, you won't be able to apply until the next time applications open, which won't be for a few years, probably. Then, there's a lengthy screening process of which many of us are going through the last phases.
