Just ignore the nuts. Everyone knows gary, Gaidin and I are taking all 90 jobs. True, the commute will be a b$%#@*, but it will be worth it. I predict none of you will have problems making your numbers...

There is simply no way odar doesn't hire the 90 this year. They need them, but that doesn't even matter. The fact is they are budgeted and have the funds. No federal agency in history has ever failed to use money they have been given to my knowledge. That's why my office has approximately 47,000 cases of hand sanitizer overflowing the supply room. The money is there and its targeted for 90 alj hires this fiscal. No way they don't use it. And, as others pointed out, the only way to hire for them is this register. So it may take a while and they may not like it, but its getting done. The money has been earmarked for ALJ hires, but if something changed and hiring didnt occur, the money would be used for something else. (SCTs/field office/operations/1 million bottles of hand sanitizer). The money would not go unused.

The macadamia, filbert, walnut, pecan, pistachio, almond, Brazil, cashew, etc. Some nuts are hard to ignore and sometimes nuts are everywhere in our food, even when not listed in the ingredients. Mmmmmmmmm, I wonder if chessparent really thought her statement about nuts all the way through.

While reading over this thread--and having observed the Tigerlaw/Funky issues--this video came to mind.

i just heard the judges are being solicited for interviews in June. This is going to be a quick hire--not a lot of time to plan if you get the nod.

That's great! I'd also like to think that if things don't work out with OMHA for some reason, you're going to have a great shot of landing in your dream job in Wichita's ODAR office at some point! Being on a Denver cert is really impressive.

Thanks very much! I didn't realize that it was for the OMHA until after I first posted; I then edited my post. Is that the job where I wouldn't be able to transfer back to Wichita?
Well, Hopefalj just answered my question! I'm getting kind of excited here!

Thanks very much! I didn't realize that it was for the OMHA until after I first posted; I then edited my post. Is that the job where I wouldn't be able to transfer back to Wichita? Yes. Your choice if offices is very limited, and apparently transfers aren't often entertained. Not entirely sure, but I think it'll be tough to get to ODAR from OMHA, too. But there are worse places in the world to live than Denver...
