AWS is "alternative work schedule". It is when an employee works 8 9 hours a day, and one 8 hour day in a pay period, you get one day off every other week. So every other week you have the same day off. Most people pick a Monday or Friday. JD

While Tom Petty's "The Waiting" plays over the awful speakers. And Carly Simon's "Anticipation" is up next.

If sports drafts were like this, they would never be televised.

I think the poll results on the graph should be given no credence whatsoever absent a posting by the person who actually got the job, or by ALJD or someone else who got a reliable PM stating an offer accepted. I'm not in this hunt, but it's getting a bit silly, IMO.

A split second of levity here: Today's SUaC assignment...
Incorporate a song reference dealing with time, temporal distortion, watched pots, or ODAR/OMHA.
For example, "time goes by so slowly... And time can do so much. ODAR, still mine?"

"Time, time, time, see what's become of me. While I looked around for my possibilities, I was so hard to please. . . . .
Oh seasons change with the scenery Weaving time in a tapestry Won't you stop and remember me at any convenient time?"

I thought you were going with the Bangles. Paul Simon wrote it. Simon and Garfunkel recorded it. The Bangles covered it.

It's astounding Time is fleeting Madness--takes its toll
But refresh often Not for very much longer Calls from Bob are gonna start to roll
I REMEMBER Testing in D.C. Thinking "will this ever end?"
Then the blackness it hit me Hoping ODAR would be calling "Come be a judge now with me!" "Come be a judge now with me!"

Kinda defeats the whole anonymous post thing, don't you think? That's why I said that they can go thru ALJD for posting, preserving anonymity if they choose. I certainly understand that everyone is not comfortable with self reporting.

"A sprinkle a day, help keeps odor away"
"A hire a day, helps keep ODAR away" ( from all the rest of us 1st certers)
