"Baked in Falls Church"....sounds like a bad Harold and Kumar film. With Gaidin using an Easy Bake Oven, it might be more like "Half-Baked in Falls Church."

Aaand all my paperwork is in, too! I had a bit of panic as I tried to send it from my SSA e-mail (Outlook) and it kept telling me my attachments were too large... even when I dropped down to a single attachment in the e-mail! Fortunately, I had just enough presence of mind left (at the end of a long workday) to try shutting down and restarting Outlook. From that point on, I was able to send out all my PDFs (and the XLSX spreadsheet with my 20+ city rankings) in the expected two e-mails. So now begins the utterly terrifying wait for my interview scheduling call, and for my references to be contacted. I've done everything I need to do to this point, and yet there is no inner calm... you'd think at some point I could just relax, right?

Good point, Sratty. No emails from FC likely over the weekend. Maybe we all need to shut down for the weekend and wait till Monday. Still waiting for the interview call/email so I can book my hotel.
Have a nice trip to SC. Wish Charleston was one of my certs. I would not mind relocating there.

Yes, the coastal southern places are most inviting. Spent some time in Savannah, until one of my former employers started to bounce pay checks. Hard to explain why my bills weren't being honored. I would have no problem going, if the matter were right. Not sure if the Mrs. would be happy, but after time, she might learn to like the area.
Mrs. is a way West Coast girl and not happy about being far from home and family at the Far West Coast. Long travel times to the East Coast.

And I've decided to work off my nervousness, in part, by finally giving myself a face!

Until the process is over, your brain will be filled with questions, like "did I choose the right references?", "would I really go to Salt Lake City?", "have I ever tweeted or Facebook'd anything even slightly controversial?", and "did I forget to pick up my kids from practice?". Best wishes. Welcome to the journey.

Long-time lurker here. First time I have ever had anything to post. BTW, thank you to everyone for providing so much material. I don't know what I would have done otherwise.
Reference checks have begun. My old boss from 15 years was called today. My interview hasn't happened yet. If you haven't got all your references properly up to speed, you may want to do that right now (like me!).
Thanks.

From that point on, I was able to send out all my PDFs (and the XLSX spreadsheet with my 20+ city rankings) in the expected two e-mails. And all of my attachments went through in one email - both times. I also send the GAL back in scanned PDF format - because I'm paranoid about changes occurring outside of my control - however, I sent the supplement back blank last time, in XLSX. I see no reason for them to not take either - I mean they give us the Excel spreadsheet and specify PDF as the preferred format. I went ahead and did mine on Thursday - as a "Leftover" all I had to do was redo my Declaration and FCRA paperwork and finalize my city rankings. Took 10 minutes.

I know it's early on Monday morning but is anyone else still waiting on a call to set up an interview? Sent in paperwork Fri morning. Don't know how long to wait before officially freaking out and pestering Bob's office with "don't forget me!" phone calls or emails.

Tbunlaw, There is still a sizable group of us waiting on our interview call. I received my cert email last Monday morning and had my paperwork in by last Tuesday afternoon, so apparently that is not a factor. If I don't receive the call by COB today I might start feeling a little more anxious...
