I received and returned all of the paperwork but haven't received a call to schedule an interview yet. However, one of my references called me this morning to say he had been contacted. The wait continues. . .

Patience, I'm still waiting for the call to schedule the interview too. I sent back in all my documentation last Tuesday. My email notifying me I'm on the cert had said that I would be contacted in May to schedule an interview so I'm trying to be patient too.

There's an edit button- you can fix the typo and you can delete the post about it! It does take a few days to get the calls done..

I've waited this long, so sweating it out a few more days won't hurt!

I was scheduled for an interview on Monday, May 11, at 1:30. I sent them an email this morning cancelling it and asking them to remove me from the list of candidates. Good luck to everyone. I look forward to seeing folks posting good news on here in the days ahead.

You will love it there along with the work you will be doing. I hope you stay in touch and let us know through the Board how you are doing.

Just curious if anyone who made this cert did not make it for all of their cities. I have a relatively low score, and yet I made all cities on this cert that I had in my GAL. I'm wondering if, after the long delay, OPM simply sent a cert that listed everyone who had agreed to go to that city, regardless of their score. In my mind, that explains the polling results showing some certs going thirty deep.

After years of waiting, I suspect we will all be singing this song sometime soon. Never mind. The video won't load.

Had I gone home for lunch like I normally do, I would have discovered that I got the call to schedule an interview around 10:00 this morning on my home phone. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to get somebody on the phone!

I was 45 minutes into day three of a bench trial today when I received a call to interview. I advised the Judge, which is one of my references, that if I received the call I would have to run out of the courtroom. Luckily, she agreed. When my phone rang I raised it up in the air, grabbed a notepad and ran out the door. At first, the man introduced himself as Joseph. I was expecting Bob or one of the other usual people. Instantly, I thought if this guy is trying to sell me an extended warranty on my car I will make it my life's work to track him down. Fortunately for both of us, it was SSA. Now I have to attempt to focus on the remaining days of trial.
