I thought I would check in the discussion board to see if anyone has heard about or been contacted for interviews for the USDA AJ Position yet.

Has anybody heard how they did on the assessment? Or is there anyway to find out? I would be interested in knowing.

Are you referring to the interviews? From what I understand the next phase will be some sort of either phone or structured interviews.

Seemingly, the only way that one can tell how they did on the assessment - if you mean how one did on the writing sample/online component/resume - is whether one got referred for the position(s)/location applied for. This is a very generic data point - kind of a binary pass/no pass or in their terminology - most qualified or not apparently. I don't recall the actual rubric used (I think it was qualified, highly qualified or most qualified or something like that).
I only applied for one location and got referred, but if one applied for more than one and got referred for some and not others, that tells me either that the particular regional offices have different ways of viewing one's experience/application/online test etc. or just comparing each application to the pool of applicants for each region leads to referrals to some and not others. So, you might be most qualified for one region but not for another seemingly. I think the latter is most likely rather than regions having differing criteria for who is most qualified.
I don't know really, but I would be very interested in seeing this move forward. From all that I can tell, this is an interesting and good job. Good luck.

Thanks for posting keepsake. I agree that the initial determination was likely a combination of making sure the initial qualifications were met and then the assessment was most likely scored and compared against the other qualified candidates with only the top qualified candidates being referred for each location.
I am also interested in seeing this job move forward. I am not sure what the delay is in scheduling interviews.

No word here either. Keep in mind that the selecting official has 90 days to act on the referral list / certificate and can request an extension, if warranted. So, don't expect to hear anything for a while.

Does anyone know if they have scheduled interviews for all the locations or just the west coast locations?
