Humbly, I would suggest that the sign stating the room at OPM is reserved from October - January not be given too much weight in formulating our WAGs about future timelines. Having spent some time as a government employee myself, if I put on my public servant hat I might think, "Note to Self: I do not want to spend the last two weeks of December packing up and rearranging that testing room. Thus, I will reserve it until January which gives me more time to do what I've got to do in there, and still be able to take all of my use-or-use time to be out of the office December 21st to January 4th." This theory is consistent with my experience with co-workers who would reserve a conference room for two entire days for a 3:00 retirement reception simply so they could (a) decorate at their leisure during the day; (b) have a place to store the Costco cake safe from those who have been known to help themselves to an uncut cake stored in the break room; and (c) leave cleanup for the following day so they could still catch their 4:30pm bus home. Now I want some cake.

So we got counts on test taker numbers on day 1 but nothing on day 2 or 3. People we be slackin' here!! Let's go, let's hear some numbers!! Did anyone sit on days 2 or 3? If not, (which explains the silence) I feel significantly better about my chances :-)

Really, gary? Didn't you check off the box indicating your preference for chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling or yellow cake with vanilla mousse filling? It was on the back of the concierge card for the testing site. I'm sure it was right before the question about whether you preferred the standard recliner or rocker-recliner seating for the WD. Careful pumpkin, I worry that you are skirting the edges of the non-disclosure agreement. So, with that in mind, I will NOT ask you which flavor options you had!

They didn't have decorations or Costco cake when I tested. Pumpkin obviously picked the better testing slot.

There was also a report that in the past the maximum capacity of the room was 32. I'm not sure how accurate this was or whether there might have been some reconfiguration of the room since that report.

Hello from Foggy Bottom! Today I counted 29 people in the room. Thanks! If we could get firmer numbers for Tuesday and Wednesday from people who were there then, we'd have the week covered.

Are we sure there was testing done all 3 days? I was thinking they would run testing Mon/Wed and SIs Tues/Thurs.

Yes - agree people tested on Tuesday. My report from that day was apparently not accurate - maybe nerves made the numbers look bigger. Until we hear back directly from someone who was actually there, I'd downsize the report I received to 32 at most.
