I will ultimately figure out how to do this! Right now, I am betting It requires I get off the iPad and use a real computer! But thanks, I wish I could have found a better video, but I think they have posted these videos after their heyday, so to speak. You were close. I copied the link as you had it and cleaned it up by removing extraneous characters. When I had it right in my browser, it pulled up your video. Then I selected all on the address and copied it.

Wow! That is definitely something special. A real special song by a special band. Gaiden, do I detect a hint (or more) of sarcasm? Or maybe I'm just being a little too sensitive, I mean, they are incredibly pop and sugary, so it's not everyone's cup o' tea, for sure. I still like them better than whatever that English girl-group that was so big years back. I forget their name, but one of them married Beckham, is some other soccer star! But if you really liked them, you should check out their catalog, they have a lot of great tunes!

Normalllllly..........but I learned a long time ago, if it's in Spanish, it's totally ok! . I know! I know! . Actually, to share, I am a huge audiophile with an incredible appetite for and interest in all things musical. And some times there are sugary treats you just cannot resist! Ok, I could say more, but I am rambling late at night after a very nice Thanksgiving day. I know there's another thread, but Happy Thanksgiving to all!

***and Liz. you may have said this before but both JC and newark are just a short train ride to manhatten. correct?
and to all, S. Jersey as i think Gaidan pointed out is actually very close to Philly. yes, Camden has bad parts but there are other towns around there that are very suburban and nice. i suspect cost of living is a bear though, even with the locality pay, for any of these offices.**** =====================================================
The Newark H.O. is in downtown Newark. The office is a short walk from Newark Penn Station. You can take NJTransit train, Amtrak or the PATH to Manhattan. Amtrak is expensive but takes 10 minutes to get to NY Penn Station. NJTransit Train covers the same route in 20 minutes for about half the cost (about $5 each way). The PATH (Port Authority Trans Hudson) train will get you from Newark Penn either to NY Penn or the World Trade Center in 30-40 minutes. The PATH train is a subway from NJ to Manhattan that costs $2.75 a ride (but actually much less if you buy a 10-trip from the candy store on the Manhattan side).
Downtown Jersey City is a 5 minute ride on the path train to WTC or 10 minutes to 32nd Street and 6th Avenue. HOWEVER, the JC H.O. is not in downtown Jersey City, it is on the west side of JC. You must connect with the Hudson Bergen Light Rail from downtown and go another 20 minutes to West Side Avenue to get to the hearing office.
All of Camden is a "bad part." Sorry, but it's true. There are lots of other places to live that are very nice in the Philadelphia metro area, which now includes much of south Jersey. There are many commuter bus lines going to and fro, plus you can take Amtrak or NJTransit in some places.
I am used to the cost of living. I think the COLA we get for the NY area does not make our salary comparable to the actual salary in what some people call Crapland when you compare the cost of living in each place.

Albuquerque, NM I won't lie to you the Que is in my top 5 cities to get hired into. As such the impression I want all of you to have of it is: a wretched hive of scum and villainy according to this documentary TV series. (Massive edit by cafeta) There isn't a whole lot of music by bands from New Mexico. There are some classic country music gems about the Land of Enchantment though. Heheheh, when I lived there it seemed to me the most popular version of the state motto was "Land of Entrapment!" Lots of good and bad here I think, like most places, I guess.

Central New York
Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse
Central New York is freaking cold and snowy, really, really, really snowy. Syracuse receives the most annual average snow of any metropolitan area in the United States. When you consider how much snow Buffalo gets that is insane.
I spent a summer in this part of New York as a kid and I remember it fondly. Of course those were the rose colored glasses of childhood combined with the fact that it was July and not January.
Cab Calloway like my paternal grand parents was from Rochester. I like to imagine them dancing to this one when they were young.
Cory Wells the lead singer of Three Dog Night is from Buffalo. I have always wanted this song to play when I walked into a party. It has never happened and I think if you use your phone to play your own entrance music that is just sad.
There a concert a few years ago in Woodstock, NY which is just an hour down the road from Albany. There were many great and iconic performances at Woodstock but this one sums up the Board for me.

I have a question. I have a lot of cities on my GAL to increase my likelihood of being hired. They are all places I would go. However If I have a large, desirable city and also a crapland city, is it likely that I would miss out on the more desirable location because the crapland city takes me first and they have fewer candidates to choose from? Or does the large city relinquish the candidate to the small crapland location?

Or does the large city relinquish the candidate to the small crapland location? The answer is if they want you they will stick you where they can put you and get other desired candidates. Remember they cannot hire you unless you make it into the top 3 for a given location. You have to decide whether you are willing to stay in an assigned city for a minimum of 16 months and realistically probably a minimum of 18 months and potentially for much longer. If you are then I would suggest that you not strike any locations but you need to be honest with yourself.
