Love Martinis the froufrouier the better Make mine the traditional way: Gin or vodka, dry vermouth, pimiento stuffed olives, in a cocktail shaker. I don't particularly care if the gin gets bruised. When I'm drinking martinis I don't particularly care if I get bruised

Alright you Navy guys, I'm at the Brick Alley Pub having an Old Fashioned because they gave me a weird look when I asked for a Judge!! Not sure about the rest of you, but my Naval Justice School daze revolved around Brick Alley and O club on Fridays. Uh oh. Just saw this. NJS. Me too Thames St and The Brick Alley most definitely

Gary, have you tried a smoky martini? Prepare the traditional way, but replace the vermouth with scotch. It's awesome!

This sounds like a good drink for people who find martinis too weak.

This sounds like a good drink for people who find martinis too weak. Indeed, they are dangerous and to be respected. Haven't actually had one for quite some time now. But I do remember that if you went beyond two, well, I guess I remember that you don't remember what happens after the second!

The drink of the day right now on this Sunday afternoon is coffee to get ready for a long week ahead of status checking...and some work! ?

My state run ABC stores and my military base package stores only have 2 brands of vermouth - average and cheap. Never heard of Capano Antica, but now I am intrigued!
Thanks for the inspiring cocktail TLS.
