Funky, thanks for the balanced and thoughtful response. All will be revealed in due time. It's understandable to be anxious and searching for clues until then - I know I am. But it can be counterproductive, and adds stress to an already stressful process. We'll know soon enough...
Good luck, everyone!

They CANNOT change the rules for how scores are given. Changing the rules creates a basis for appeal that would be very hard to overcome. The minimum score on the SI and the WD will remain the same and there is no Higher Scoring subgroup language in the NOR emails.
Allowing the lower scored subgroup through wasn't a rule change it was the next step in the process. I fully expect that they will do the same thing with the refresh. The higher scoring sub group will advance initially, followed by a lower scoring subgroup as the initial group gets hired, followed by a refresh, followed by....
You cannot rely upon Application Manager to tell you anything. While I agree that Complete means you passed and SDT means you didn't we have Jratty's post above to indicate they may not be done making changes. Additionally, you don't know what data entry clerk might miss the check box and so your status doesn't change but you pass anyway.

And the whole "see details" versus "complete" thing was discussed at great length the last time we had a big group and the bottom line is the "see details" is the kiss of death, and the "complete" is what you want to see. Sorry folks, but just passing along what we all finally figured out in 2014. I know I am beating a dead horse but I want to be clear, when you are referring to the "See details" versus "complete", are we talking about the description next to the 'Application Package Status'?

I doubt it means anything but last week my external assessment changed from 2/11/2016 to 2/18/2016. So maybe they might be scoring still. I really am confused now (which is just a modification from "moderately confused" by OPM before). Mine still says 2/11/2016 and hasn't changed. Are there any insiders who know what the deal is with the changing dates? Is OPM taking a second look at some applications? Maybe grading in two parts?

Mine changed on 2/11. The Details/Checklist have no importance to the final NOR. You will get an NOR that ranks you with a numerical score. I would guess it's coming soon and no later than 4/24/2016, which is the date it's due under my tab. And mines says the external assessment was submitted 2/11/2016 but due on 4/24/2015. Are you sure yours isn't 4/24/2015, roggenbier? Just wondering. Thanks.

NRG ALJ, according to the legends on the board, the dates are irrelevant in the body of the Application Manager. The only information that has been telling in the past is at the top left of the webpage where it says Application Package Status. That should say Complete or See Details Tab. The former is a positive, the latter not.

It means nothing other than internal processing issues so do not worry about the dates.

Ok...so, to beat this dead horse some more...does everyone START with a "see details status" and some get switched to "complete" (presumably those who passed)? I'm currently at "See Details" as my status and am trying to figure out if there's a chance it could still switch to "Complete". Pathetic, huh?

As Judgratty noted, she is aware of 2 people who had status changes last week. So It is possible they are not done making the data entry changes yet.

I guess that also means they are still making updates and could signal NORs are not coming out as soon as we hoped. More status changes may be in store for some in the See Details Tab group. Good luck to all!

Good luck to all! I have NO inside knowledge, but I think you're right. The earlier intel we had was for "February." Looks like they will miss that goal, which is nothing new. You've heard of Eastern Daylight, you've heard of Pacific Standard - Welcome to the vortex of Government Time. EDIT: Actually "vortex" is too fast. Welcome to the Morass of Government Time.

My application package status is "Complete" - but my external assessment completion date changed from 2/11/2016 to 2/18/2016. I think it was a day or so ago. This mean anything to the experienced folk? To say I'm sick of waiting for a NOR is an understatement!

Welcome aboard. No one knows why those dates changed for some, but the consensus is that it doesn't matter, only if you have Complete vs See Details
