Application Manager is down today Feb. 27 from 7 am to 7 pm. Does this have any meaning? NORs coming?

Maybe they discovered that some of us can still access Application Manager and are remedying that.

OPM is attempting to recover as many of the applications and associated documents as it can. It is hopeful that at least "some" of them will be recovered. The more recovered, the fewer candidates who will have to go through the testing again. Not currently known if this is another hack, or if the applications were lost by an internal glitch.

OPM monitors this board, and it knows the confusion/fear factor when anything out of the ordinary happens.

I would not read too much into the downed App Manager. There were notices yesterday that other gov systems would be down for maintenance for the same period. Or it could be as alj says!
