The "reply all" response to the Commissioner's Broadcast made me literally gasp.
Upon further review it appears the response was sent only to region 4 ALJs.

I seem to remember wide praise a couple weeks ago for posting internal notice about hiring info we were told its valuable insider info. Pixie you censor this place so hard.

Give her a break, I appreciate the on-going work she and others do to provide relevant information. When others do the heavy lifting, I forfeit any right to complain because I'm not putting forth that type of effort.

Why not? We have threads about job satisfaction, what better insight for would be ALJs than the type of day to day office politics they are likely to encounter?

no Pixie ... there was no reason to remove the information previously posted that was critical of ODAR mgmt. The only information that should be censored from this forum is information specific to the ALJ testing and interview process that is prohibited from sharing pursuant to the non disclosure agreement applicants sign.

The e-mail author did not reply all. Publication here was clearly not desired. I think deletion of an email meant for a select audience is appropriate censorship. I do not want my private e-mails shared here. If someone posts their own thoughts here on this site and then has the post censored, it is a different matter. |

I really want to respond with an intelligent, yet witty, comment citing the First Amendment and waxing poetic about freedom of speech. The person apparently replied all R4 ALJs literally over a hundred people when you send an email like that you lose ownership its not private anymore one of the recipients posted here. Again there's no reason to censor it without an interest there is no pseudo obligation like with the alj testing info.
Like 2 weeks ago insiders were encouraged to post info.
My theory: Pixie is Associate chief judge john allen, great guy I've met him in person huge buckeyes fan, I don't have a problem with it just own it. He might be a different RCALJ but almost certainly a member of mgmt that's how he has so much inside info. The info he has provided is not stuff provided to line aljs.
See Odar mgmt has always wanted more control over the alj hiring process because Odar hires 95% of new aljs. Nevertheless, opm controls the hiring process until the last part. Odar mgmt's method of desiminating info to a substantial population to the applicant pool is through pixie because opm controls it they can't just send out notices to the applicant pool. Regular inside info disclosure is great except all of the sudden when mgmt is the target

I thought about chiming in but I know Pixie is clearly capable of defending herself. She sure has put me in my place.
However, the conspiracy theory made me laugh out loud. I have often wondered if we ever get to meet Pixie. I swear I read her and Gaiden had a celebratory dinner...
