Business casual for the WD and LBMT (plus arctic survival gear). Dress in layers for the WD and LBMT because the room temperature varies between 60 degrees in the morning to 85 degrees in the afternoon. Courtroom attire for the SI.

I have always heard that you should dress for the job you want, so...should I wear a robe, a New York Yankees uniform (I am worried that the chest protector will slow my typing down...no such worries with the mask, I am wearing it now), or an iron man suit (definitely worried about the mask here)?
Let me know?
Also, my iron man suit is not real, but do you think that the proctor will think I'm cheating? No autograph or picture requests please, I'm going to be very focused.

Not sure you would need the chest protector. But, I definitely wished I had worn a cup.

The topic of this thread is "Logistics of the WD" There will be no discussion about the exam itself.
Instead of jumping in and asking questions, it might be a good idea to read the thread first. It isn't very long. Pixie.

First post here from a long time lurker. I'd like to confirm the attire for the two days. I plan to wear business attire for the interview, but is business casual still acceptable for day 1?

I would think casual is OK for day 1.
BTW, welcome to the Board. Pixie

Thanks, Pixie. The board's been very helpful, especially on the more substantive threads, but it's these little logistical issues that always stress me out the most, for some reason!

From what I've heard, a snowsuit would be the best thing to wear. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I plan on dressing a very warm business casual.

It doesn't even need to be business casual. Just plain ole casual will be fine, if that suits you better. No pun intended. Pixie

Given the weather I will be expecting the week before Christmas, would you give me your imprimatur for jeans, a button down shirt, and a sweater?

I did the WD in mid-September. I wore jeans, a polo, and sneakers.
I don't get cold and I was comfortable.
Seriously, wear what your going to be comfortable in while sitting in a room and testing all day.

I dressed up for the WD as well as the SI the first time around, and, as I recall, for both the second time too. Several didn't dress up for the WD-but then, I dressed up for the bar exam. I just felt more confident and just better about myself generally. Do what makes you feel best.

For the WD wear whatever you are comfortable in for full day of testing. No one will be taking notes

I wore sweats and a tshirt for wd. Had a pullover if needed. Not needed my day.
I definitely won most casual in our group of 32. However, I also may have won most laid back(relatively speaking) cause my goals were focus and comfort that day.
Rocked the attorney look for the si.

The invite says: "You will not be permitted to bring any unnecessary personal items (including firearms, knives or weapons) to the Written Demonstration or Logic Based Measurement Test."
Does that include cell phones? Normally I would just leave it in the room as I'm not the type that is attached to my phone. However, with my family going, I would like to have it with me to touch base with them at lunch and hook up with them after testing. Anyone have any issue with bringing their cell and turning it off during testing?

I had my phone too. It had to be turned off and not on the desk.
