And yet another after the DC testing. And then one in late March 2019 when their AM access is terminated. Lord help me! I was trying to not remember that one. It is probably the worst of them all. Pixie. Pixie, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this: all of your good deeds (putting up with redundant questions, theories, etc., from us newbies) are truly appreciated. My status changed to AR sometime between Wednesday a.m. and this a.m. - haven't had the opportunity to check the AM since Wednesday a.m. FWIW, typically I'm the "last to know" ANYTHING, so perhaps emails will start rolling out now.

Thank you. If I didn't want anyone to post about Application Manager, I wouldn't have started this thread. It is good to keep all of these posts together in one place. As hopefulalj said, the posts are rather amusing. It's just that I have seen them so many times, I can't help but make derogatory remarks about AM. Pixie

I'm rather enjoying my AM obsession! Perhaps it's b/c I'm jealous of those who are obsessing about offers. LOL! Next step (hopefully) obsessing about the online testing!! :-)

For a bunch of lawyers, we all do seem to share a thing for statistics on this Board!

And if we are somehow tracking this - my status changed from pending to Awaiting Results yesterday - mid-day. Good luck to all.

And if I can just add - why can't AM - send out a basic email saying - you are qualified - further instructions will follow within 72 hours via email? Put us out of our misery...? Guess that is asking too much...smh

I just approved your application, so I know you are brand new. Welcome to the Board, and good luck with your application. You will grow to love Application Manager just as all of us have. Some of us less than others. Pixie

Pixie this is the my 3rd time at the show, if only the new peeps knew how long of a show it really is, no worry about app manager, many many other things to worry about , as always good luck to all, and good luck to those interviewing with SSA soon. Agreed. For some reason Application Manager causes angst and obsession. I have locked the prior threads discussing A.M. so everyone will need to do the obsessing in this thread. I am surprised we haven't heard from serious worrywart about his A.M. He needs to chime in so we will know he is OK. Although it may be that he is in Falls Church worrying about the interview. Pixie. Sorry to chime in so late, but I'm here, alive and well, and have absolutely nothing to say about Application Manager! Thank you for thinking of me. I guess. Sort of. Maybe. I'm sandwiching my worries between a few trips, including, yes, FC. It's an ever-growing Dagwood-type sandwich. The sandwich does not include a layer of Application Manager though.

As you have realized there is more to worry about than Application Manager. A serious worrier can only worry about so much without going into overload. Pixie

I hate this stage the most - I know I will obsess about the others too - but those later stages don't seem so arbitrary - this one does! I have over 25 years as a litigator so this should not be an issue - but after reading everyone's past problems getting past this stage I am on pins and needles over what should be a non issue! I am usually a roll with it type - hence my prior lurking on the board - but I finally pulled to plug and registered so as to get to know you all. Great board and you are all wonderfully helpful.

I'm at "Awaiting Results-You Will Be Notified."
I have a Maryland SSN.
I have not been obsessing over this for the last month, so it might have changed earlier than today. Was starting to get curious, though, as it's been almost two months since I forwarded the application.
I guess this is a good sign? Or, at least, not a bad one. It's hard to know, right? I see that the consensus here is that it might be good news, so that's at least something.
I have over nine years of federal adjudication experience (Administrative Law), and I tried very hard to tailor my responses to the language advertised in the job announcement. I guess if I don't make it, it's not the end of the world, but it'd sure be nice to move forward to the online testing.
