My status changed to AR this afternoon. Hoping to go for the gold this time around (did not get the minimum score on my WD in 2013).

For all the newbies, spouse's application says "awaiting results". Following the SSN theory, when I saw that NY SSNs had turned to AR status, we checked. Not sure when this happened though, so I cannot ascribe to any other conspiracy. We're happy nonetheless. Here's hoping for an ODAR phone call for me and an OPM email for my better half, sometime in the next week or two!

My status also changed to awaiting results. That's progress, however slight...

Hoping all of you hear the answer you want very very soon!!! I too am hoping all of you get an answer so I can lock this thread and we can move on to another obsession. When the next group of candidates rolls in the door, I will start a new thread in which the exact same questions, answers and comments will be posted over and over again. If any of you read the threads I posted at the beginning of this one, you will see what I mean. But I don't want to dissuade anyone from posting, as it keeps this thread alive and fresh posts in this thread keep the obsessing out of other threads. I would like to congratulate this particular batch of candidates as you have all done a good job (with one notable exception) of keeping the AM obsessing in this thread and out of the other threads. In the past we have had 2 or 3 threads with AM posts in them going concurrently. After you guys have been around for a few cycles, I think you will better understand my comments about Application Manager. Pixie.

You will only have to start another one after they complete the online testing.

And yet another after the DC testing.
And then one in late March 2019 when their AM access is terminated.

Yes, our first-round AM obsessing looks a lot like the 2013 examination AM thread. But a couple of things stood out to me. In 2013, the online-testing invitation emails coincided with statuses changing to AR, which no one has reported here.
Also, who knew that so many people still used AOL in 2013?

I don't know that AM status changes exactly coincided with OPM actions--at best, they have been leading indicators.

G & G: I know, but at least those topics will have a little bit of substance to them (maybe). And, perhaps most importantly, it will be a fresh obsession--for a while. Pixie.

Pixie. I wonder if OPM had a lot of inquiries about it, as each time I've checked the status AM reminds me the info will only be saved for 36 months. Maybe the "disappearing information" thread will be avoided, but maybe I'm wishful thinking (for your sake).

Pixie. Gary, you're a naughty man for bringing that up! You're going to send the new candidates into a panic!

In 2013, the online-testing invitation emails coincided with statuses changing to AR, which no one has reported here. Also, who knew that so many people still used AOL in 2013? The bolded part is not entirely accurate. It happened around the same time but everyone's status didn't change simultaneously but the emails did go out more or less simultaneously. You guys need to understand there are 5,500 in the application pipeline. It looks like there are still a sizeable number of board members waiting on the change and you all make up a very small percentage of that 5,500. You are possibly still a few work days from all statuses being changed. Then it may be another day or two before emails go out. Alternatively they could be done today and emails will go out overnight. As gary says status changes are at best a leading indicator and in no case are they to be relied upon as absolutely determinative of timing or results.

Good points, I didn't mean to imply that those status changed simultaneously. Or that anything is determinative of anything, which we've all learned by now, hopefully.

jbrky, I also had the requisite experience and licensure in 2013 but got kicked out at Phase 1 because I did not do enough to explain how my experience met the requirements. I did not appeal, however, but as I understand it, appeals were very, very seldom successful. I had a similar experience in 2013. I did appeal, but they said no with an explanation that basically said they couldn't consider things that weren't in the original application.
This time, I jammed in as many keywords as possible. I wrote it with dates and spelling out the years of experience like I was writing for an audience of 3rd graders. I'm now at Awaiting Results, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I thought it was really helpful to know the status of folks' applications and appreciate the posts.

Lurking for a long time around here. My status changed to AR yesterday. With Uncle Sam, I'll believe it's good news when I get the good news and not a moment before. I know other people in both See Details and AR status now but can't really draw conclusions from their prior work experience without knowing what they put into the questionnaire.
