Congrats to USAFA - they have been chosen to play in the "Cheez-It Bowl" in Phoenix against Washington State on December 27th. Took a while to stop laughing over the name of the bowl sponsor, but an honor nonetheless.

Every year about this time I start wearing green on Wednesday through Saturday. Today I started early. A green LL Bean barn jacket (well insulated w/Primaloft) and a green/black ARMY ball cap. I also have a navy and gold ARMY cap, but this isn't the time of the year to wear that one. I started early this year in response to the dreadful posts by SPN Lifer. I felt I needed something to offset his smugness. Pixie |

Didn't realize how jealous of USAF the folks at Canoe U really are - catchy tune though.......
By the way, being called the Chair Force is really seen as a compliment. Being able to fight and dominate from a chair is an essential job requirement for a Zoomie - the US hasn't figured out how to make air superiority fighters/bombers/transports where the pilots can stand and fly. Something about design and G-forces........
