Yeah Boley!!!! Glad someone who admits to being from the bottom of the bell curve made it. Congrats to all who received an offer. No joy here in mudville though.

Could you folks possibly name the cities you're going to? I would prefer to have ALJDiscussion or Pixie take PMs and run a separate thread like last time. I wouldn't want my new office to have preconceived notions of me based upon my posts here.

Even though I am new to posting, I would agree it would be best to do cities privately. With a smaller number of hires this round, I imagine most cities are only getting one judge and it would be easy to match-up the forum name to the real person which many, including myself, would prefer not to do.

I'm in the same boat as Patriotsfan. Being rejected again is starting to hurt. Congrats to all who made it. Jerseymom

Q - Last time, it took SSA 30 days or so to send out the reject e-mails. From the postings I cannot conclude whether those "rejected" have received such communications, or whether the absence of an affirmative e-mail caused them to draw the conclusion. Any idea?

Maybe not all of the offers are out? Perhaps people would post their cities in a poll (which is anonymous) if someone more computer savvy than I put one together. I did receive an offer but am a bit overwhelmed by the reality of uprooting and moving my family. Will let you know if I accept.

Well, I just called the main number (Susan & Pat's both went straight to voicemail), and was told that all the email offers to those selected have gone out. Congrats & best wishes to those selected.

I am so pleased to say I also got an offer! I look forward to meeting some of you in ALJ school.
For those that did not get selected this time around, keep trying and don't give up if this is what you truly want to do!

I just spoke with Susan - she says these offers do NOT include those on the "exapnded cert" from the June 16 letter. At first, I thought we were just "fodder" for the process, but she indicates that there are still some expanded cert selections to be made. I am not sure if this means people from the original April cert might still be in the running for the expanded slots, but I have no reason to think they would not be (yet).
