This evening I received my third referral to the hiring manager for the posting that closed in April 2020. Any idea why this notice keeps being sent? Has anyone interviewed?

Same thing happened to me, but it was my second referral for the April 2020 closing. You had three of them? Weird. No idea. Correction: I had three referrals as well.

29 April, 7 May & 11 June. Third time's a charm?
Perhaps that is a subtle way of informing us of a delay in interviewing.
After reading the Roll Call articles, I am somewhat less sanguine about the chances of non-IJs getting an interview. Yet hope blooms eternal!

Anyone know if IJs are offered compressed schedules?

Anyone know if IJs are offered compressed schedules? They are allowed a compressed schedule when their probationary period ends. Generally speaking, for those who qualify for veterans' preference that is at the end of a year. For non veterans preference, at the end of two years. The AWS is 9 longer days and 1 day off every other week.

The AWS is 9 longer days and 1 day off every other week. Does that mean new IJs have no flexibility in their day to day schedule? From prior brief research (aka googling) I thought all new employees had a choice in M-F vs compressed or flex scheduling.

According to the new judges in our courtrooms, they are not offered flexible schedules until the probation period is over.

FYI - the Appellate immigration judge posting that closed on April 22, I received a disposition letter when I checked usajobs.gov. But did not actually receive an email.
