Has anyone received their NOR re: the first cut today? A friend of mine received a NOR today indicating that he did not make the cut due to incomplete application. I checked my status and still have not heard anything. Anyone else received any info?

Technical denials were the first notified the last time. Don't hold your breath waiting on the invitation to test. There was a good little gap between the technincal denials and the emails for those invited the last time.
You will not be able to tell anything important by application manager past this point. Everything else will come by email to whichever email address you provided. One odd exception was that the actual job offer came by work email to those currently employed by SSA the last time. Otherwise, everything came to the personal email that we had chosen.

If you click on "details" under your application package, you will find a list of "messages" which will include a copy of the NOR when it is sent. If there is no Notice of Results listed under messages, it hasn't been sent yet.
And I agree with nonamouse that there will probably be some delay between NORs sent due to failure to meet minimum qualification standards and everybody else. How long that delay will be, I don't even have a guess.

Wow - I didn't get a technical rejection. Nor did I get notice that I again rate a zero. Is it possible that I improved that much since the last application - or is it just that the pool of applicants is just that much worse?

Is it possible that I improved that much since the last application - or is it just that the pool of applicants is just that much worse? Don't want to damper your spirits or anything, but I do recall that the "zero" "five" "ten" NORs went out the same day as the "congrats you make it past step one" NORs. I got mine NOR late in the afternoon on Wednesday (I think) and had a real pleasant day on Thursday at work when others started calling with their news, both good and disappointing. I don't recall the exact time between the technical denials and the other letters, although I think it might have been four or five days before the other announcements.

Don't want to damper your spirits or anything, ... Yeah - last time even tho I was a zero I managed to follow instructions. I guess I have THAT going for me! It is a lot more fun going thru this and not caring!

I have not received anything at all after my status changed to "ok" on the 24th. I keep checking my e-mail in box here at work, nothing yet. Waiting on pins and needles; whatever the result may be. Good Luck to everyone.

I just got word I did not make the cut. I didn't see any score or any indication of anything--just that my score was not among the highest. Best of luck to the rest of you!

All right. Went to application manager, went to details, saved the NOR, and learned that once again I'm not among the most highly qualified.
That's it for me folks. Good luck to everyone still in the game.

I just got my Dear john notice as well. The grade is listed as 003. I think that is the grade assigned to the AR, which was a zero last time. I suppose that's progress. Given that my qualifications hadn't changed, though I significantly up the self-laudatory ante in the descriptions on the AR, I'm not surprised at the result.

Just noticed, tho. I received a "specialty code" of 001, and a "grade" of 3. So either way, I guess that shows I improved from my zero last time around! So I've got THAT going for me...

Yes, same here, received a "03" grade for my first time application. What does 03 mean? Also received notice on my that veterans preference was considered in my review and I am not a veteran and thus discounted me.

If I remember correctly (I cannot open the NOR from last year) the O3 is not your score - it refers to the classification of the ALJ position or something like that. Last time, the actual scores were either "0" or "5" - best I could figure out non qualifiers got "0" for their Accomplishment Records and non qualifiers who were 5 point vets got "5".
Those who have already posted. . . you say you got your "dear John letter." Did you see something on applicaiton manager or did you receive an e-mail at the e-mail on your app?

I received my notice at my e-mail address. I don't have an actual score anywhere that I can identify.

I received my NOR via a "do not reply" form email that also said another email would be forthcoming. Then I received a second duplicate email of the first email. Same thing a grade of 03 with notice that veterans preference was given and thus I was non-qualified. Nothing further. Think I may do a FOIA out of curiousity.
