I accepted a position with OMHA in Kansas City this morning. Report on August 25. Yikes, that is coming up quick!!! Still have not heard from SSA though I was wide open on my locations. Will probably get a call from them now that I've accepted the OMHA spot. You don't have to accept the position because you feel sorry for them ... If past patterns hold true, Bob should be calling within a couple of days. Either way, congratulations!!!!!!!

Now that SSA is hiring for the second class, I wonder if start date will also come into the calculation for some of OMHA vs SSA.

Is anyone else starting to feel sorry for OMHA? Always a bridesmaid, never a bride... If OMHA batted her eyes at me I'd drop to my knees and pull out a ring.

And rip off your suit Clark Kent style? I know, I know. Only at the beach on the 4th of July. Not quite the way to woo a girl.

FYI, regarding the Union issue: all OMHA judges supervise their teams. So, they are considered management and do not have a Union. LW

Oh, yeah, anotherfed. I meant you can't just save that for 4th of July if you have Clark Kent going on.

Hmmmm . . . . Sounds like the meek, mild-mannered, reporter secret identity thing isn't working so well anymore.

DD you can ship them several feet of snow from Michigan. I would say either Traverse City cherries or Mackinac Island fudge would be best.

Michigan has some wineries too. And Dutch candies in Holland--I think boter babbelaars were the ones I especially enjoyed. Either of those would be worth sending someone.
