Congrats to alj2be and auroaborealis for completing this testing phase. It's been a while, but I remember being able to silently eat a snack during the bar exam. Can I really not eat anything from 8am to 1pm? I never go more than three hours without food. I'm eating right now as I type - but quietly. I'm going to eat a big breakfast :-)

There were signs posted that said no food. I don't know if anyone tried to eat. Drinks were okay but had to remain on the floor.

I think there will be some variation in attendance for popular and less popular days, but that there will not be an extreme drop off. OPM will not likely have provided for a lot of empty chairs when the music stopped. OPM could have provided a total of 1200 chairs to be assigned to 1100 self schedulers in the scramble that is their new scheduling system, and there would not be a lot of (if any) sparsely attended dates. Well remember, this week was number 2 in preference on the poll, if that is any reflection.

Some notes from someone who has tested this week. The sign outside the testing room says "ALJ testing October 2015 through January 2016". Could be just 1/4erly 10 pt testers or something else? ? At the end they said something like, "your final score will not be determined until all of the testing has been completed." This person interpreted this second point to mean they will wait until everyone from this group is done before they score and put these new people on the register.

The second point does not surprise me. The first is very interesting. It would seem like overkill to reserve the room for all of January if they were only going to test some preference eligibles, but I don't have any other theory to offer so maybe that's it.

A friend just got his reasonable accomodation request response. While I won't delve into his issues, he did say his response contained an interesting remark. Something to the effect of, if he somehow failed to register or was unable to attend he would be not be able to reschedule until the next testing period in April.....?
Anybody else get something that seems to indicate they will do another testing period next spring?

I think I remember somebody posting that if they as a self scheduler needed to postpone their date they were told the new date would be in the spring. I don't recall if this was told in a message just to the one person or in a more general communication.

Hmmm...once again, maybe a hint that those of us who tested the weeks of August 31 and September 14 may get our scores sooner rather than later. Does anyone else see this?

I've seen the letters that opm sent to those who weren't invited Io dc this time and they made it pretty clear that there would be no further "lowering of the bar" and that their application and appeal rights were over.

I think you August/September testees will get your scores sooner rather than later, though I don't see the hint in what was told the anonymous source. If there's a hint, I think it's in the interpretation of what the source was told, to which I do not attach a lot of weight.

I haven't seen those emails. My thought would have been they were dipping down to the next group for Spring. If that's not what they are doing, it seems they will either be just picking up postponers and more preference eligibles or they will be doing a refresh of the register.

As for food, I recall someone asked if she could eat candy during the WD and I think they said she could. However, there were signs that stated no food allowed.
With respect to the numbers testing this fall/winter, My intel is that the bulk of the testing will be done in October. I take this to mean the testing room will pretty much be full for most or all the testing dates in October, with less testers in November and December. I think we all guessed this anyway.
Lastly, I want to take this time to thank you all for your support and kindness through this whole process. It is quite a relief to be on the other end of it.

Just got the admission email for next week no food but covered drinks, on the floor. Sounds like a long day. But glad to be there
