My old locations are included in my updated GAL. They are listed at the end of my updated GAL. Others have reported the same thing. At least one person has reported an updated GAL where the retained locations from their original GAL are listed at the beginning. In your situation I would not expect to see any of the omitted locations from your original GAL listed anywhere in your updated GAL.

My original locations are at the top of my new expanded list.

Man, I go away to do witness interviews and Blam! Sorry if I caused any anxiety, that was not the plan. OK - yes, my old cities are listed first, then the newly added cities. For those who tested in the fall of 2015 and you do NOT see the cities they added this month, I don't really have an answer. The heart-wrenching idea that this is the 2016 version of the "see Details" vs. "Application Complete" debate of 2013 is a possibility. But that would assume they have even scored all of you, which I do not think they have yet. that is the more likely scenario. ***nerd alert*** If you added cities as per the OPM email received in December 2015, and you tested this fall and have yet to receive your NOR, I recommend you watch your Application Manager account for some movement, any movement and let the rest of us geeks and OCD types know if they add your cities, change it to Complete, etc., etc. I tested in December 2015 and am still waiting for my NOR. Application manager shows my first cities chosen in 2013, and then my expanded GAL chosen in December 2015.

Keep in mind that you may be trying to access information that is in the midst of being updated. As you should all know, these inputs do not happen all at the same time. They have to be entered person by person. Just because the original poster checked when they did does not mean that all inputs have been made. This is a fluid ongoing process. I agree and I would add that no one from the Oct-Dec testing group has said that they also see a change to "Complete" in app manager. But I have to wonder why no one from the group who already received NORs has chimed in and shared that (s)he is still awaiting/expecting a change in their GALs? It appears from the posts that the NOR in-hand group is confirming updated GALs (with the exception that there are those who can't access app manager). Perhaps, I missed a post, but the fluidity and data entry issues should apply to everyone's applications and I haven't seen that expressed yet. At least as far as Board participants go, no one from the Oct-Dec test group has reported receiving an NOR.

As one of those who lived (and ultimately) died during the "application complete" vs. "See details" tab days, reading this brought PTSD level flashbacks. And so, against my better judgment, once more I wade into these WAG waters...
I tested in October, checked and my new GAL cities were added to my application in the "print answers" section. My new cities were on top of my old list.
I am wondering if the amount of GAL change maybe the cause of the "new cities on the top/bottom" question? Or whether you removed any cities? My original GAL was 34 cities, but the new list is 103. I also removed at least 1 city from the old list.
We'll that's my info to add to the collective wisdom, and my wag to spur its speculation.

I tested in late October, took quite a while to think through the changes I wanted to make to my GAL (sufficiently long that I received two "reminder" emails). I previously had a wide open GAL and when given the chance to update, did remove cities. None of the removed cities are now included in the list. Still looking forward to receiving my NOR

I can confirm that OPM is still working on this. My updated GAL is now listed!!! My removed cities are, in fact, removed.

When I said the "group who already received NORs", I was referring to folks like Gary and Gaiden, folks who have NORs and are on the register but are still waiting for the call. I did not see anyone from that group expressing that their GALs were not being updated. [/b]

The bolded text above is what you said, but it appears it is in the post that you quoted. In order to quote another poster, and then make your own comment, you need to come down below the quote box. If you are using a phone, it may be difficult to do. Pix.

oh good grief, i think the added cities have been in there since yesterday. Sigh.... this is why it is best not to worry.
i wondered why the list of cities was so weird. i seem to have 2 main groups, both of which are in alphabetical order. i will guess group 1 is the added cities on top. and then group 2, which starts with Anchorage, contains the cities on my original GAL, with perhaps some deletions, in alphabetical order. Anchorage is around my 30th city.
is this similar to what others have?

We were very worried for you and Tripper and any other members/lurkers who didn't have the updated GAL incorporated into their application materials.
Very happy to hear that this does not appear to be a 'message' that you won't receive an NOR!!

Very happy to hear that this does not appear to be a 'message' that you won't receive an NOR!! im curious about order to make sure changes are in. i don't know where my old list is at so i can't check against it. But i am thinking Anchorage should be at top of my list if no changes had been made. my cities it looks like were added at top. just curious to see where the early alphabet states are at on other people's lists. And also, for those who have changes, do you have 2 alphabetical groups in your updated lists? There appear to be changes in mine (I hope) but since im in worrywart mode, thought i would follow up and ask more questions.

Christina, I am not sure why my posts look different, but when I hit the reply within your post, it doesn't work the same way as for others. I PM'd Pixie about this, wondering if I am just deficient. (probably explains why I am forum "Elder" and not "Legend" LOL

My GAL is not yet updated. I have therefore concluded that my data entry is in the pile before the less speedy contractor. Just like at work if my work is processed by one contractor it is sunshine and roses - she just goes out of her way to be efficient and helpful others not so much but still do good job. Unless i see a flurry of activity reflected on tjis bo ard i Will not check again until after work I hope .
