now that The Way to San Jose has been played, it's time for this, which I've been holding back. This isn't about Boston, but yet it is. Good morning everyone:

In the same vein as "Leaving on a Jet Plane", the singer is leaving a love "for a little while"--maybe to Falls Church for training. This was a Jackie deShannon single. I included this version because it was the best recording I could find. Wow, I had not thought of Jackie DeShannon in years. When I was but a wee slip of a pixie, she had a hit with What The World Needs Now Is Love. I believe that was also a Burt Bacharach tune. Thanks for stirring those memories. Pixie

I was saving this one for if and when I get the call. That being said, I think all of us could use a dose of "happy" right now!

kinda figured around 1pm or 2 pm yesterday we'd have no calls yesterday, tried to post yesterday but had technical problems(namely me as the technician).. So as we all wait, i am guessing for up to another 1.5 weeks, the songs still fits......

I submit this song that was in the soundtrack of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." While there are no lyrics, the title is apropos: "Time is Tight."
Time is Tight
