They may start cranking out notices of opening any day now. On the plus side presumably they won't make you wait, have an online, wait, have 5-7 months of DC in person, wait a good long while more, then wait for an interview......... |

If they start cranking out job postings, how much do you want to bet there will be a good percentage that are done just to satisfy the requirements, knowing that they already have someone with an inside track? Well I’m willing to sue the crap out of them if they do that. Everyone can sue separately. Only takes one injunction. I’m confused. Your guy won the election. The USSC ruled the way you wanted. El jefe did the thing one would assume he would do in view of that USSC victory. And here you are upset and wanting to sue. F suing. I hadn't been around in a while. I got the hint that I was never going to be on another cert as I haven't been contacted in ages. Was thinking its about time to check to see what's happening, and then I read the Washington Post. Well, hell. "it was an honor just to have been nominated." Will be following the forum more actively to see how things play out going forward. I hope it sticks around.

What a week! Time to catch our breath and enjoy our individual blessings. The Board should survive since there is enough interest. Maybe now it should be expanded to address additional opportunities. I see some evidence of this potential expansion already. Let’s just focus on those topics and avoid attacking others.
Pixie and ALJD have done a great service! This Board helped me understand the ALJ duties and determine my interest in such. Thank you.

Pixie Well I’ve amended my original post slightly. “Attack” I think is a bit strong. As a presumptive whiny snowflake myself, I’m not sure how that could be all that insulting, but perhaps I lack perspective. And if I get really introspective, maybe I’m a little POed that the thread wherein I was accused of being a traitor or whatever a few weeks ago got locked down before I could proffer a response to such accusations. Nevertheless Pixie has spoken, and the dude abides. ETA: in true snowflake fashion I feel bad for metaphorically kicking IF1 while he’s down. I don’t think things are as dire as he feels they are, but we’re all a bit emotional and raw at the moment. Nevertheless I am genuinely puzzled as to why he’s so upset by the predictable result of actions he appeared to support in theory (he has been Lucia’s most ardent supporter on here, after all). |
