christina thanks for sharing that video as we head into Memorial Day weekend. I hadn't seen it before and it's very moving. Okay, I'll admit it - I teared up a bit. We've had so many men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and they need to be remembered.

If that is Jim Glaser, brother of Tompaul, I met him once. Had no idea what his music was like, but he seemed to be a nice guy. I think the Glasers may have been part of the so called "Outlaw Movement" in country music along with Willie, Waylon and a few others? Pixie

Everytime I hear the three chords that start these songs I make a mental bet with myself as to which of these songs it is. The kid rock song has some drums/production values that give it away, but I'm still 50/50 on zevon v skynard. |
