It's actually pretty cool. They project the background behind you with the flag and seal. Um, it is recommended that you shower and shave, brush your hair, etc. I plan to wear my PJs under my robe....

Left my robe in the office, didn't know when I set out that day it would be my last day there for a very long time.
I suppose I can just hit up a Halloween pop up store on November 1st when everything goes on sale and get a judge costume. Maybe get a gavel and a wig to go with the robe.

Don't spend any money on robes. It will be like Mr. Potato Head: Put graphic robe, wig, tie or Ginsburg neck decoration on the screen around your face. I might color my hair and eyebrows. Oh, hell--I'm just going to use a CJ Burger avatar. He looked more like a judge than anyone. Attachments:

I'm investing in a motion capture outfit.. I'm hoping to speak to Disney and see if I can utilize that de-aging process like they used on Robery Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson.
Barring that, I'll settle for appearing as Gollum.

Once we start doing video hearings, I’m going to wear something with sequins. And glitter. And rainbow-colored ponies. The Region’s gonna love it! “Tasteful” is my middle name. And “understated.” Two middle names. I just hope the AAJs, once they take over the national docket as part of The Big Plan, show some pizzazz and panache! There may be partiality in fact or in appearance, so they might choose to ditch the black robe altogether. Or dress as they’re told to dress by their HODs and HOCALJs, I guess. Why pretend? Whereas I have sartorial and decisional independence in fact.
Even a boa might be fun! Good times ahead!

A large bracelet, some statement earrings, and a classic collar all go well with basic black and add to the party when mixed with boas and sequins! And don't forget the bugle beads! |
