I am grateful for the fender telecaster. While I recognize that there are many different opinions about guitars, to me, that middle position on the selector switch just sounds like heaven. The fender neck fits my hand, it is almost always in tune despite the bends I gave its strings the last time I played it. My right hand and that ash tray bridge work well together, and the solid squared up body against my chest and belly let me know exactly what I am holding. Yes there are lots of other guitars in the world, but a fender tele for me is something special, and I am grateful for Leo Fender for bringing it into the world.

I am thankful for the various models of Gibson guitars and that nice fat sound they produce. The 335 series, the Les Paul and the SG produce the best tone currently known to man. Pixie

I'm thankful for when I'd check this Board with hope and optimism about potentially moving forward in a hiring process that had existed for decades (until it didn't).
Do you guys remember coming here in those heady days before 2018? Those ancient times of consistency and reliability? Pepperidge Farm remembers...

Pixie The 335 is truly an iconic piece and John Lee Hooker (who's 1965-1974 greatest hits collection was the first recording I ever spent my own money on) would just not be the same without it. The world would definitely miss the 335, and if Gibson hadn't made it, I think the space time continuum would know something was wrong. So I am grateful for other people playing the 335.

I am thankful for the Krewe of Bacchus for designing a 2021 virtual parade app. Even though it will be hard to give up the porta potty experience, "Throw me some beads mister." That's the way to put Covid in it's place . Love ya'll in the dirty coast.

I am thankful for indoor plumbing, and that much of my life has been spent in the presence of soft absorbent two ply (I'm traumatized by a youth in Europe where there was only post war type paper, toilet, for the use of. So it was that I was shocked, shocked I tell you that what was (and hopefully will be) the greatest nation on earth had to......ration toilet paper!
Oh the agony! Oh the humanity!
But lest we hum "happy days are here again" in the bathroom, once more there are signs going up across America "limit, one paper product package per customer." Of course, being America, that package can be a 20 mega roll size (the equivalent, I have it on good [sic] authority[sic] to 40 or 60 regular rolls.) To paraphrase the old Cajun saying, Laisssez les bon temps papiers!

THANK YOU foghorn.
Let the good times roll from the King of Zydeco. Made me get up and shake my moneymaker.* Took my mind off of strategic toilet paper maneuvers. I was in the drug store Saturday and overheard a conversation about toilet paper. She said, "I will get one and you pick up one and we will go through check out separately. What are they going to say"

On this hallowed eve of the big day, I wish to express my thanksgiving for all of the members of our armed forces, particularly those who must spend their holiday away from their families.
Thereâs a colloquy in A Few Good Men where Lt. Weinberg asks Lt. Commander Galloway, âwhy do you like them so much?â Galloway replies:
Because they stand upon a wall and say, ânothing is going to hurt you tonight, not on my watch.â
God bless our military.

I am thankful for a recent reminder that every winter does come to an end.
Onto Spring, my friends, the promise of a vaccine and better days ahead.
As the saying goes, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

Today I am thankful for Thanksgiving leftovers and for reruns of comedies that make you laugh even when youâve seen them several times before.
Making a turkey sandwich for lunch and tempted to add stuffing and cranberry sauce to it, thinking of someone stealing Rossâ turkey moist maker sandwich on Friends.
Reruns of M*A*S*H - also timeless.
Another classic - WKRPâs âas God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly.â

Despite CoViD reminding us all of our fragility and mortality, this last day of the month is the day I celebrate one more trip around the sun. Thankful for things like antibiotics, sewer systems, clean water, vaccines, and all the other advances in medicine which have allowed me to make it far beyond where our brothers and sisters of centuries past ended their mortal journeys. Also thankful for Willis Carrier's life, as I cannot imagine living without central air conditioning.
Let us hope for an improved December and 2021 courtesy of the ingenious nature of the human mind. In other words, thanks in advance to Pfizer and Moderna.

An effective vaccine so soon would be our generation's equivalent of the moon landing, though not as glamorous. Incredible!
