Thanks Flannery.
I must have checked my emails about a million times right now. It is really disconcerting knowing that one of my colleagues scored lower than I did and he got a notice for most of the same geo locations that I selected. I must say I am starting to lose my mind.

Northeasterner, you are not alone. I also haven't received an email, and I too, believe I have lost my mind. This is quite disconcerting. But, like Lawcat said, we can only hope that they are just slow and we will receive something today. If I receive my email, I will let you know. Y'all, please pray for me.

If you don't hear anything by end of today, I would recommend contacting one of SSA's POCs listed on the Notice (get the contact info from a friend) and see what's going on. Anything beats uncertainty.

WD is right - my e-mail that was the admission to the SI got lost, and suddenly I got this 'reminder' e-mail that I was supposed to be in DC three days hence at 8:30am for the SI . . .

Thanks Flannery.
JUST got it. Whew! Interesting though, because the interview dates are from 4/13 - 4/24, not 4/20 - which is what I thought others were told.
Now I can breath.

Northeasterner, I've heard they are going to add an extra week of interviews which may explain the difference in our timeframes

Shortened, "Good luck . . . me." PF & LB, thanks for the good afternoon laugh. It's definitely a relief from the doses of PTSD/Deja Vu from the last couple days. ;D

Well, yes, it's cute, that the luck should go to "me"-- but I will still wish luck to all--there's something --I don't know--salubrious, about directing best wishes to others.... and it's kind of a habit the rabbit likes to make.

Don't say "Good luck to all" because you are competing with these people. What you want to say is "Good luck to everyone with georgraphic preferences different than my own. For those with geographic preferences the same as mine, good luck after I get selected. For those who are SSA insiders with the same geographic preferences, please do something to screw up at work so that you will not get selected over me." Its a little awkward I admit, but it still delivers the same message . . . . . . sort of. Patriotsfan, You certainly are very honest. This is one of the best posters I have read. Personally, I wish luck to everyone but ONLY if I make it.

Why Patriotsfan - how Belichickish of you! ;D Would you suggest I videotape the others interviews to get an advantage when I go in? (Sorry - couldn't resist). Van

Also note for those of us in the "second time around club," we will not be interviewed again. But they did ask me for all of the same information again.
(where did I put those copies...)
