Sent and received confirmation to both fax numbers on Friday about 2:00 p.m. central time. No phone call yet. I am curious as to what time others think that it may be proper to despair.

I am curious as to what time others think that it may be proper to despair. Man, no reason to despair now - until and if the time comes that you hear offers have gone out and you didn't receive one. You got your materials in - you're at least good for an interview.

Patience will be rewarded - everyone who is on the Cert who responds with their paper work (as instructed, by fax #1 or fax #2, or if unsuccessful with both fax numbers, by e-mail per A. Burroughs out-of-office e-mail) and who has NOT already been interviewed will receive an interview! As I recall a year ago, the interview calls took a few days (and since I was on the Cert then as well, I remember those days being very long and thinking I would not receive a call... but it does and will come!)

I also faxed on Friday morning to original fax number and no interview scheduled yet. I am not worried b/c the email that had the documents attached specifically states not to contact them to confirm receipt b/c they will call everyone they did not receive paperwork from to follow up.

I faxed Friday morning and amazingly got through the on the original fax line. I have not yet received a call for an interview. Now I am getting a little paranoid as to whether I actually got through onthe fax line given all the problems others have had. I keep staring at the fax confirmation, but I will not feel secure until I get the call. Is anyone else waking up every morning with mild anxiety? Mine started the day we got our scores.

issuegirl: I would not worry. As I mentioned, the email states they are going to follow-up with those they did not hear from, and you have the fax confirmation to show you sent it. I would say we can officially start to panic maybe by Thursday? Can someone tell me what the travel agent is for? Are they actually booking the flights/hotels for us?

I would NOT worry at all at this point about getting a call. As far as the travel person, I assume they are booking the flights to get some special rate, and, looking at last year's threads, they reimburse us afterward.

Oh wow! I thought it was completely at our own expense again. Thanks for the good news.

This is a dead period in the obession part of the process. I know the whole thing from October (with the first rumors that testing would open soon) through finding a place on the cert has been about worry and obession. This is a break period.
YOU WILL GET A PHONE CALL.
It will either be about scheduling or why didn't you send your paperwork back. If you've got a confirmation page that says "OK" you are still in the game.
Kick back and relax while you have the chance.
Worry and obsession is scheduled to resume after the interview and remains scheduled until the calls when it will be replaced by elation for one out of every three and disappointment for two out of every three.

Truth be told, my real anxiety is the fact that I have a trip booked to Europe on June 18, so I am just praying that my interview will be scheduled for an earlier date. I know I should have waited to book, but I fell for the "only two tickets left at this price."

I know I should have waited to book, but I fell for the "only two tickets left at this price." 80% of the available dates give you a good cushion to get back home. If you are in a larger market 90% of the dates get you back in plenty of time (OK, you might not be as fresh as a flower boarding Friday morning but you will be ready to take a break). I'm in a smaller airline market and can get a flight as late as 8pm on Thursday and be through my front door at midnight with my bags. Your trip ought to be fine and probably better appreciated.

Well: Thanks for easing my anxious mind. I just wish that someone on here would post that they had resumed calls for interviews. If anyone has gotten a call today, could you please post? Thanks.

After numerous busy signals throughout the afternoon and some frustration Friday evening at Staples with trying to get their equipment (and employees) to work properly, I finally got my paperwork in via fax to the original number around 6pm Friday. I have not yet received a call for an interview yet.
Although I am anxious about getting that call, I am going to just take a breather, kick my feet up and wait for it.

Issuegirl, I received a call today to set up the interview. I have not yet talked to the person handling travel. I was given the date range and asked what day did I prefer, and surprisingly my preferred day and time was available!

I'm assuming they are calling in essentially the order the forms came in, but it would be good to have that info from those who get calls.

I faxed mine in at appx. 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Curious, I faxed mine in a few hours earlier than that (tho to the "other" number) and have not gotten a call yet. Just a tad anxious, as I have the opportunity to do something for 3 days during that period that I would like to be able to take advantage of.

Now that there are so many in, there may be a different rhyme or reason (or none at all) to the order of the calls. I've got plenty to do to keep me occupied in the meantime, but concentration is difficult!
