What type of training happens during the first week in the office?

Back in 2015- meeting people. 1 or 2 lunches. Watching VODs. Sitting in a hearing or 2. Did I mention watching VODs? Learning IT systems. Re-watching VODs.
Update- July 12- Just received my newly prescribed C-Pap machine. Here I am watching VODs again..  |

Are family members allowed to attend the Swearing in Ceremony on the last day of in-person training? Yes. And for the new judges, it's a dress-up-for-court situation. Family not as much. The rest of the time, business casual is fine. |

For those in the upcoming class (i guess this might apply more to Outsiders since insiders are staying with the same employer), have you given Notice yet? I have NOT received my final offer (just recently submitted all of my on boarding tasks), and have NOT given notice yet but i’m looking at the impending start date of 7/31/23 and the fact that we are less than two pay periods away and am getting a little anxious (more out of guilt ? but in the interim I am squaring everything up with my current docket as best as i can).
For those in the new class, please PM- I would love to get to know my future classmates!

Follow-up with HR to let them know of your concerns, but you should be good to not notify your current boss until Monday, the 17th. Two weeks is standard. More is better, of course, but not required.
