As far as the specific data point you're looking at (notification to do in-person testing in DC to receipt of NOR), the 2013 applicants' dates are correct. There is other information (cert dates, etc) which as you can see was not filled in here. And keep in mind there was another batch of people who applied in 2013 but did in-person testing in 2015, and the lag between notification for in-person testing and receipt of NOR was not noted on this chart for that group.

Wanted to leave this here if it is helpful to new people...
That main timeline thread started in 2007. The timeline stopped being updated past 2013, as far as I can tell. There is a new step that the older timelines don't show because they didn't exist.
Between an application being deemed "complete" and being invited to DC for the WD/SI is the online test of SJT/writing/EA.
Best I can tell, and based on what I am experiencing, it is 4-5 weeks from application complete to be invited to take the online test (if you pass the initial experience assessment - MANY don't). You have to wait a week from invite to actually taking it online.
Then it appears it is 5-8 weeks to find out if you are invited to DC for in person testing (WD/SI). Those are scheduled perhaps 4-8 weeks for after you get the notice. THEN, you wait maybe 4-6 months to get a NOR ()

Thank you this information. I was just wondering what the time frame would be between submitting my application and being invited to take the online test of SJT/writing/EA. It sounds like a very long drawn out process. But entireley worth it in the end.

I think the answer is no one really knows. There is some conjecture that based on past experience the first notices should go out in 4-6 weeks. But no one really knows.

And may I recommend that you not refer to any of us a "geezers." You will go further that way.

It drips with the same level of condescension. Well you are a newbie. As were we all at one time. "Geezer" on the other hand reeks of ageism and is offensive to everybody I have ever met. Starting out by being insulting is no way to get anything on this Board much less asking people for whom the information is of marginal utility to compile it for you.

I noticed that the time from the SI to receiving your NOR took a lot longer after 2012. It had been about three months for every group prior to 2013 then starting in 2013 ballooned to 6-9 months to get a NOR.
Can anyone offer any speculation on how long it will take to get a NOR after a SI now?
Specifically, there is a group of 10 pt vets going to DC the second week of July. Any speculation or educated WAG how long a NOR will take from the middle of July 2016?

This class is sooo slow to catch on. Well over 1/2 of them can't even successfully fill out the application to join this board.

Pixie--does this mean that will become part of Level 1 or level 2?

I truly don't understand why anyone would want to tick off members of this board. Joviality is fine, but once chastised, just take it and move forward. I was one of the 2013 people who got kicked out in the first portion of the application because I didn't put date/percent, etc., even though it was spelled out in my application and resume. Directions and attention to detail were important. I would not have determined what I did wrong and that specific steps in directions were IMPORTANT for those reviewing these exams/applications, without this board. In old school terms, "don't bite the hand that feeds!" just some unsolicited advice (er, um, a tip, yeah, that's the ticket, a tip).
