The obvious answer for me would normally be February 15th (my birthday) @ 9 AM sharp, but since that is a Friday and the following Monday is Presidents Day, I will go with Monday, February 11th @ 9 AM.
Te eliminatus salutat. Or words to that effect. My Latin is very rusty but the message is plain enough.

After careful calculation, the correct answer can only be March 3, 2008 at 12:36 CST. Follow the math and you will see that this is true. Giving each letter a numerical value (e.g. A=1; B=2; C=3; etc.) you will find the following:
SSA = 39 ODAR = 38 (subtotal = 77) which is the year I married my lovely bride, so the math checks out so far.
March 3rd is the 63rd day of the year (subtotal 63)
“March” has 5 letters and “three” has 5 letters, which equals 10.
Combine all the subtotals and you get a total of 150, which I’m sure you would agree is a significant number.
March 3rd is the first Monday after Texas Independence Day, March 2, 1836. So I’m sure you can see that I am right so far. But I wanted to check my math, so I used a different calculation. Giving each word in the date its numerical value, you will find that:
March = 43 Three = 56 (subtotal = 99) March 3 is the 63rd day of the year. 99 – 63 = 36 (Isn’t it interesting that looking at it forward of backward it is 63 or 36. Plus, note the 36 as in 1836, the year of Texas independence.)
(It is also important to recognized that each number is divisible by 3. You can see a pattern here, third day of the third month.) Going a step further, I used the word “third” instead of “three”. The difference between the two is, if you guessed 3 go to the head of the class. If you add each number in 1836 together, you get 18,(as in 18 36) which is divisible by 3. It’s also interesting that if you add the first two digits and last two digits of 1836, both equal 9. So you have two 9s or 99. Remember that “March” and “three” add up to 99.
What is the significance of the number “3”? Well there are going to be three ALJ classes. Also note that ALJ has 3 letters.
Finally, why select 12:36 Central Standard Time? That is the time in the Great State of Texas that coincides with 18:36 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
So there you have it. But don’t take my word for it, because I knownuthin.

BTW, I spoke with someone in Falls Church yesterday because I was concerned about an upcoming vacation. During the week of 2/18, I will be out of the country, and difficult to contact. The very kind lady with whom I spoke assured me that would not be a problem. She indicated that they might make some decisions the week before the 18th, or the following week. However, she said that she was confident that it would not be the week of the 18th, and would most likely be at the end of the month.

Knownuthin,
I'm guessing that you may be a fan of the show "Numbers" , or "Monk", or both ! Not sure which you might like better after reading your post a few times ! If you have not seen them, they may be right down your alley.

Witz,
For some unknown reason, I'm only attracted to monosyllabic titles (e.g., Monk, House, Bones, Psyche) or the alphabet shows (CSI, NCIS). However I do like 24, which may be an exception to the rule. It has more than one syllable, but then again it is a number. In which case, this may allow me to watch Numbers, which I confess I have never watched. Thanks for the suggestion.

So far, the most popular day is 2/29 with 4 picks. The most popular time is 10:00am (with 6 picks), the closest two picks are Happy and Knownuthin (6 minutes). followed by Gromit and Southerner (12 minutes). The earliest is this coming Monday; the latest is March 10 (a month later).

I find myself in the odd position of hoping I lose this poll and that M'lord and Shadow win! Well, it's 9:05 EST, so it looks like Morgullord has already lost. (Unless the first offer went to someone not on this board)

Since none of my references have been contacted, I'm going to make this guess, with the hope that it reflects Yale having completed everyone's background checks: 2/29/08 at 7:39 am (the time was chosen arbitrarily).
