Right now, things are looking good for Skibum. The switch over to Privateatty being closest will occur at 21:45:31 tonight (09:31:00 to 09:59:59 /2) and last until 2/26/08 at 11:40:31, when it will switch over to Tootsie. I assumed that the entire 60 seconds from :00 to :59 was claimed by the individual claiming the stated time. Thus, the end of 9:30 (for example) and the beginning of 10:00 (for example) are 29 minutes apart, resulting in the 1/2 minute division.
So make sure you write down the time to the second when you're called.
Just kidding.
The minute will suffice.

there are less than 200 of us. isn't it possible that offers are already going out and we are none the wiser. could we all be outside the forest listening for the trees to fall?

I wish I could be pithy sometimes (I'm not).]Statistically, even with 1/4 cert members on this list (which is a very conservative number, since we also have the people on this list who know other people on the cert who are not regiestered here), we should hear within the first 3-6 phone calls made - and they will be pumping through them very quickly. There is a possible delay while people on the list take the call, evaluate it, talk with family, make their decision, celebrate, shave their beards, watch a movie, drink some beer, search for real estate, and then remember to post something here. But I expect offers will be known here before or at the same time they become common knowledge elsewhere, too. |

The "Age of Gromit" dawns about 11:19pm tonight. It lasts until about 10:16am tomorrow, when the "Age of Jerseymom" dawns. (Southerner has the possibility of a moral victory of some kind for having initially been right, but he changed his guess).
